HERE'S WHAT SOME OF OUR CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING ABOUT LEI'S TRAININGS!

The Experiential Learning training provided by Learned Enterprises was truly rewarding. Being a facilitator with some experience, it was enlightening to be a part of a group as opposed to leading one. I acquired even more tools to help my groups move towards effective communication, successful teamwork, and trust. I would recommend this training to anyone.

Jeffrey E. Meinz, Walcamp Program Director.

This training really opened the eyes of the teachers and counselors who were involved. We are excited about using a more experiential approach in both the classroom and counseling settings throughout our corporation.

Susan Eldridge, Counselor, Logansport Community School Corp.

Our trainer was wonderful! The training really met our needs.

Cindy Jones, Education Service center, Region 20

This training emphasizes how powerful experiential learning really is. You form such a trust & friendship with the other participants in just three days, that makes you feel you have known them for years.

Kurt Hoffman, Principal Lakeside High School; Plummer, Idaho

A little lower!

The training deepened my understanding of the group process, a facilitator's role, and ability & capability of groups. Everyone who is working with groups should go through this training. It's one of the best that I have attended. The information and training acquired here will be used to work with families (parents), teenagers and youngsters.

Ben Rivera, DEP Coordinator Woodbridge Housing Authority Woodbridge, NJ

I would recommend the LEI facilitator workshop to any group who needs to build a strong foundation of teamwork that will carry them throughout their employment together. Our trainer did a great job with our staff in regards to building an excellent team in a positive manner. He was able to adjust the activities to our needs and keep everyone on track. I will be using the information from our workshop to help build leadership among my Resident Assistant staff. They are college age students.

Marjorie A. Hintally, Hall Director Northwest Missouri State University

The facilitator's knowledge base and experience made everything easier when relayed to personal experiences. I have a cooperation training group at work. Participants are 11 - 17 year old boys. This training is easily adaptable to all settings and populations. I recommend it for anyone who works with a team or to teach others how to be a team.

Crystal Sprecher, CTRS Mendota Juvenile Treatment Ctr.; Madison, WI

Thank you for changing my perspective on team work, cooperation, trust and helping me realize that I can use these tools in my own life.

Erin Joekel, Leadership Intern/Student Nebraska Wesleyan University

By far the most useful workshop I have attended in a long, long, long time! I can't wait to take the activities I learned back to my students. They're going to learn a lot and have fun! I am a school counselor and will use the information I acquired in freshman orientation (12 weeks, 1x weekly for 1 hr.) and as advisor of the Key Club (weekly meetings all school year) in teaching leadership skills.

Amy Hoppenjan, Counselor Monroe High School; Monroe, WI

This program really helped sharpen my facilitator skills. I feel so much more prepared in leading and participating in group team building and processing.

Lori L. Baran, Student, Greek Life Intern Nebraska Wesleyan University

HOW ARE YOU USING THE INFORMATION YOU ACQUIRED AT YOUR CUSTOM TRAINING?

This was an incredibly dynamic and exciting workshop and I would highly recommend it! Students and adults alike really learned a great deal and it was one of the best workshops I've attended!! I was most impressed by the student's final presentation and how much they gained from the training and how much they taught the adults about teamwork! I think that this program could be used with many ages from elementary school children through adults and I'm going to encourage the people I work with to use this program because I think it could be so beneficial to the myriad of children we work with.

Robin Dulli Behavior Support Teacher/Counselor Consultant

I had a great time! It made me more comfortable with my own decisions, in that towards the end of the workshop I wasn't reserved or scared to give my opinions or thoughts. We will be utilizing our skills with other faculty at the beginning of the year and during the year at faculty meetings. We will also utilize our skills with students (6th graders) at the beginning of the year in getting to know each other and understanding “team” concepts.

Kimberly Mikell, Resource Teacher Sandhills Middle School; Gaston, S.C.

As a school we will use these activities to become more united. Faculty members will work together to accomplish our common mission. Then teachers can use the strategies with students to encourage cooperation, self-responsibility and experiential learning.

Angie Rye, Assistant Principal Sandhills Middle School; Gaston, S.C.

I will use this information with college aged students, primarily student employee and supervisor training sessions. Also in Freshman Seminar, with my own office and co-workers. I've already used one with my boyfriend “just for fun” and relationship building. Excellent experiences to meet the training needs of today's professionals.

Tina Coffelt, Coordinator of Student Employment Northwest Missouri State University

The energy is contagious. The excitement from the training will generate a lot of enthusiasm in future participants. I will use it for Health class as well as during at risk groups.

Carol Kubicek, Teacher Necedah Area Schools; Necedah, WI

It was so encouraging to see teachers get excited about Experiential Education methods. Students deserve this much more than being lectured to continuously. The kids became so cohesive as a group. I saw growth in each student's abilities as well as development of compassion & inclusion of those who were on the edges. I work with at risk kids and youth coalitions, along with teachers integrating Experiential Education in the classrooms.

Judy Medley, Substance Abuse Prev. Coor. Pecos Valley Reg. Ctr. Coop., Artesia, NM

Training was excellent and right up “our alley.” If this training doesn't “pay for itself” in a short time, we are to blame! I will ultimately use this to build morale and essentials of effective teaming with our faculty. This workshop is a fantastic opportunity to identify the essentials of effective teaming and how to bring about awareness. Participants watch the facilitator and then begin modeling appropriate characteristics for facilitators. The hands-on application is wonderful with effective feedback.

Elizabeth D. Abbott, Principal Sandhills Middle School; Gaston, S.C.

Excellent training. We will be able to apply what was experienced and learned at our faculty meetings with teachers and staff and with students in classrooms. We will share this information on school inservice days.

Gregg Riley, Principal Swansea Elementary School; Swansea, SC

Many people do not understand the benefits of experiential learning, or do not even realize that they really ARE learning when they experience various things. This workshop focuses on the experience, forcing you out of your comfort zone and into a new realm of thinking - beneficial for all people at all levels!

Jennifer M. Griggs, Residence Hall Director Northwest Missouri State University

Outstanding - applicable to both students and teachers, as well as for both personal and professional development! I will use this with 7th and 8th graders in an alternative school setting. This program immediately impacted our faculty as we are in the process of an administrative change. Trust has glued the “team” together while motivating us for the challenges ahead.

Lisa Barnes, Teacher (STEPS Program) Sandhills Middle School

Staff and participants should go through this training in order to fully understand “team” and “teamwork”. High risk students - this is a must! I will be using this information with youth programs (ages 12 - 18 yrs.), with youth program staff (police officers) and at middle school special events.

Sharon Staples, SDFS Coor. Blair Cluster Eastern Middle School; Silver Spring, MD

A great and fun experience. Everyone should give this program a try. I will use the shorter activities often and try to fit in the longer ones when possible. I will also take what I have learned about myself and people to help me become a better teacher.

Jen Buffone, Teacher Crete-Monee Intermediate Center; Crete, IL

I am an alternative school teacher for students who have been unsuccessful in one or more grades. I will use these activities to foster a spirit of cooperation and community within the group.

Jay Lindr, Teacher (STEPS Program) Sandhills Middle School; Gaston, S.C.
